This course will give guidance about completing your Statement of Impact. As you work through the course, you will find pages giving tips and advice about writing this document, as well as some activities for you to complete to help you think about what to include. It is important that you have already attended a Development Day before working through this course, to ensure you get the most out of it and understand the various frameworks and documents being referred to.

You don't need to click through every page of this course if there is a specific area you think you need extra guidance with, although we would recommend working through the full course in order to get the most out of it.

At the end of the course, you will find a page containing all the resources referred to throughout the course. There is also a short evaluation form for you to complete, to give any feedback about how you have found the course and if there is anything we can do to improve it.

How long will it take?

It will probably take you around 30 to 40 minutes to read through this course carefully. Of course you can dip in and out if there are specific areas you think you need extra help with.

There are also a couple of activities to do throughout the course. You could do these activities as you go (and each one will take about 5 minutes for each example you use in the activity) or another time; it is worth noting that these are activities that you could take to a staff meeting, so you can get multiple examples from across the school in a short amount of time.
